Vanessa Bailey is a veteran of executive recruitment for private equity, with over 20 years of experience in the industry. She founded Cressida Partners in New York in 1999. Vanessa began her career at Russell Reynolds Associates where she worked in London, New York and Tokyo.

Through her career, Vanessa has represented a broad array of top tier private equity firms and maintains a concentrated portfolio of long-standing clients for whom she is both recruiter and advisor.

Vanessa, a British national, graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University with an M.A. (Honors) in Modern Languages. She is a marathon runner and a certified milliner, as well an advocate for a number of animal rescue organizations.
